  3. I thank God He answered my pray. For over a year i have be wondering in a void area of my life and couldn’t understand what was going on. I gave the Lord my life and invited Him into my serveral years ago. But family issues and bad relationship get in the way of my goal and daily living. The Journey was a God sent process to deliver me and give understanding of what happen, why I was in a dark place just wondering around, boing nothing in my life to better myself. Medatation, prayer, and ready God words religionly is so helpful to not only free mine, but to free my soul. My mind was in full control and now my spirit i can hear and follow. My procrastination once has take me over, now that I know what caused it, I know also what to do about. My eyes are open and my spirit is free. That you Lord Jesus for my answered pray. 6. First, I want to thank Pastor Joe for providing this opportunity for me to make a change in my life. I would still be in the dark if it wasn’t for The Journey. I believe in Pastor Joe because he presents himself in a manner that make you feel comfortable. I feel as if he is talking directly to me. I have learned so much about myself and about God. These 40 day has been a life changing experience for me. He made me believe in myself. I was able to express my feels on issues that I have never told another person, other than my wife. For this life changing experience, I am so grateful. The Lord lifted me.

  7. Thank you for the experience! When I began the journey I ws skeptical that I could get something from this process. Upon watching the first video I could see that JLW knew something special, and was walking the walk, I could discern that this was special and for me. Ihad lost my sense of purpose in life and today I wake up excited that I can help others, myself and love life again.

  8. The journey helped me to get control of my bad eating habits. It made me realize that food is to fuel the body. It also helped me to learn that a meal can be 6oz of yogurt or a small apple and loz of cashews. It definitely made me look at my portions. I’ve received several compliments on my weight loss– Makes me feel good. Also, I recognize that this is a lifestyle change. “Thank you” to my leader and mentor for their support and spirituality .

  9. I don’t know how I survived without the journey process. Yes I do. Prior to the journey, I was just surviving. Now since I have been introduced to the journey, I am no longer surviving, I am now living!

I thank God everyday fof this process and his loyal servant who brought this message to His people.

  10. What a refreshing, replenishing, edifying experience I had during my journey?
    • I was refreshed in an emotional and physical sense. I refreshed my thinking, my though process is very clear, my eating habits has drastically changed and I plan to continue my refreshing nutritional and emotional Journey through the rest of my life. Example, my A1C reading for my Diabetes was a 10.5 in May before the journey… I got my results of my last lab test taken on 08/06/2013 and it reads 6.9 (normal A1C is 6.5).
    • I replenished my spirit during this journey. I am closer to God, I understand the power of prayer and meditation… I understand the power for Faith, I understand the power of discernment. My Experience, on July 19, 2013 my car stalled in the middle of I 75/85 Huge tractor trailers and cars was coming towards me at fast speeds. (I prepared myself through meditation and prayer before leaving my house that morning) As I looked through my review mirror all I can think was Jehovah-Shalom “ God of Peace”, I was instilled with Peace in knowing that God was my Protector and Jehovah-Shamah “God My Everything”. Through my periods of mediation I found that God is here in me and has been all this time, it’s the God in me that found comfort in that terrible experience on the Highway… I have a replenished spirit from this journey, I feel renewed.
    • This journey is all edifying, learning new ways to live, new ways to handle situations, new ways to talk, new ways to make better decisions, new ways to eat. I was ready to learn new ways of living and that is just what I have learned…My expectation from this Journey is to learn how to Journey every day of my life. I’m well prepared to take that next step in my Life Journey… 40 Days was the starter or tester of my faith to go ahead and make this a Lifetime Journey.

I’m thankful for my Pastor Dr. Joseph L. Williams, he has blessed us with so much…God has bless Dr. Joe and he is passing it along, all around the world… God is Awesome…I’m ready to keep getting it…

  11. When I started this journey I was in spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical turmoil. I was lost and angry at the cards that had been dealt to me and I did not know how to move forward in my life. Everything was at a stand still and I was falling deeper into depression and self-loathing. My heart was hardened by someone who had hurt me to my core and I was extremely bitter.

Today, I have forgiven one of the two people who I felt played a part in my emotional destruction. I am still in the process of learning to completely forgive but I understand that my healing won’t be complete until I let it all go. I have opened the communication lines with someone I never thought that I would speak to or even like in my lifetime and I am now encouraging her in a positive way.

Also, I have lost 25 lbs total and my mother has found 21.1 lbs so we were truly blessed by this experience.

    Peace and Blessings!

  12. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Joseph’s obedience to God to do the For my journey to help God’s people be whole and healthy. May God richly bless him and all the people who put this idea together.

  13. The Journey was the most impactful 40 days of my life. I was stretched and challenged in so many ways. I am now focused on what my life priorities are and I feel empowered to get it done. I was able to build my discipline which was sorely lacking for me. Very significantly, I have the tools I need to get the remainder of the excess weight off, because the Journey works.

  14. Before I started The Journey I was in a deep state of depression. I had gained weight and just couldn’t get out of the hold from my state of depression. I was depressed because my Mother suffered a massive heart attack and stayed in a comma for seven weeks and died. I lived in Memphis Tennessee and My Mom lived in Chicago. I had to uprooted myself and move to Chicago for 2 months. That too all of my joy away. Being in the Journey and reading Not of this World helped me talk to a group of women that did not know me but, witnessed their issues and life and listened to mine.

This was therapy for me. I could talk, cry and do what ever I needed to do to help me understand that I will see my Mother again on the otherside. The diet, meditation, daily blogs and assignments helped me have a better prespective with my life’s issues. The Journey truly helped me.

  15. I now have a different mindset, when things happen in my life now, I don’t get depressed or stressed about it. I just thank God for a total transformation. I am no longer taking my blood pressure pills. Thank you Jesus.

HealingThe process of healing can be uncomfortable but crucial to growth. With the help of the Journey, you will address traumatic issues from your past that you have subconsciously avoided. This is the first step towards complete transformation!

Transformation Things that are transformed are changed forever. In this second step, the trans-formation is not a physical one, but rather spiritual and emotional. Transformation occurs when the journeyer sees exactly what ways the darkness has affected them.

EmpowermentWhen you decide to make a conscious change from a world of darkness to one of the light, you will notice many new changes. You will exist on a higher level of consciousness. You will have energy and a newfound, deep, and sustainable relationship with God.

ExpansionAs you grow, change and transform - so will others! Others around you will be affected by the light that exudes from you. It will inspire change for others. Your journey is bigger than you - it will lead to the transformation of others.
